TAP Air Portugal unveils summer 2024 schedule

TAP Air Portugal has just unveiled its summer 2024 scheduling, which will see additional flights added for North America, Africa and Europe. Europe to Brazil flights will see a frequency increase to 91 flights weekly.

The expanded schedule comes hot on the heels of this year’s summer season, giving customers the opportunity to get ahead of the game and plan next year’s holiday.

Strengthening the Portugal to Brazil Corridor

TAP Air Portugal continues to invest in its flagship Portugal to Brazil corridor. Starting from March 31, 2024, the Portuguese flag carrier is adding a remarkable 11 weekly flights between Portugal and Brazil.

TAP’s super schedule will see a total of 91 flights per week during peak summer, connecting 11 Brazilian cities to Lisbon and Porto.

This expansion solidifies TAP Air Portugal’s position as the market leader in offering superior connections between Brazil and Europe.

Enhanced Connections


As part of this new schedule, TAP is enhancing popular routes. The connection between Lisbon and Recife will gain an impressive three additional flights per week, totaling 10 weekly flights.

Meanwhile, the Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro route will see two more weekly flights, making it 12 per week.

More Choices for South America

TAP Air Portugal is not stopping there. The airline is adding an additional weekly flight to several South American destinations, including São Paulo, Belém, Brasília, Natal, Maceio, Porto Alegre, and Salvador. Travelers will have even more choices when heading to South America.

Expanding Across the Pond

Across the Atlantic, TAP Air Portugal is expanding its schedule in response to growing customer demand. Flights from Lisbon to Toronto will increase to 13 weekly, while San Francisco will also grow to six flights per week during peak summer, up from five in 2023.

Bridging Europe and Mozambique

In Africa, TAP Air Portugal is increasing flights from Lisbon to Maputo to four times per week, up from three. This expansion provides unrivaled access from Europe to Mozambique, opening up exciting travel opportunities.

Closer to Home


Closer to home, TAP has also expanded its European schedule. An additional nine weekly flights are now available to Florence and Rome. These enchanting Italian cities are just a flight away for travelers looking to explore the beauty of Europe.

Summary


Currently, TAP Air Portugal offers 71 weekly flights from the UK to Lisbon and 14 weekly flights to Porto. Additionally, there are 15 weekly services available for customers traveling between Dublin and Lisbon.

TAP has meticulously timed these services to allow for easy connections from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, and Dublin onto the airline’s extensive network. With all flights operating from the same terminal in Lisbon, long-haul connections become a breeze.
