Saudi Arabia Airlines (SAUDIA), the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, is gearing up to recommence operations to Toronto, Canada.
This move is made possible through collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Air Connectivity Program (ACP); a national initiative to boost tourism and air travel.
It further aligns with SAUDIA’s expansion goals as the airline works towards bringing around 330 million visitors to the Kingdom by 2030.
With ticketing now available via digital channels, the inaugural flight is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023, departing from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Strengthening Global Presence
With Toronto joining the list, this marks SAUDIA’s ninth destination in collaboration with the ACP. This strategic move underscores the airline’s ongoing drive to enhance its competitive edge in the global aviation industry.
In reopening the North American route, SAUDIA aims to serve a diverse range of guests, including Saudi nationals pursuing higher education abroad.
Moreover, it aligns seamlessly with the broader goal of connecting the world with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner
For travelers looking to journey between Jeddah and Toronto, SAUDIA has your needs covered. Flights are scheduled six times a week, offering a convenient round-trip option.
The approximate flight duration for the service is estimated to be around 13.5 hours.
The airline will operate the Jeddah to Toronto route using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This aircraft is renowned for its spacious and meticulously designed seats, promising a delightful travel experience.
