Ryanair has unveiled its Shannon winter 2023/2024 schedule, introducing 18 routes, including two new Faro and Liverpool routes.

This announcement promises a blend of winter sun getaways and captivating weekend city breaks.

In addition to these new routes, Ryanair has also ramped up its flight frequencies on six other popular routes, namely Alicante, Krakow, Lanzarote, Malaga, Tenerife, and Wroclaw.

The expansion doesn’t end with new routes and increased flight frequencies. Ryanair is set to base one of its state-of-the-art Gamechanger aircraft at Shannon Airport for the winter 2023/2024 season.

This decision represents a substantial $300 million investment and will generate more than 1,000 local jobs, including 30 well-compensated positions for pilots, cabin crew members, and engineers.

These Gamechanger aircraft are in high demand at airports across Europe due to their remarkable environmental benefits: they reduce CO2 emissions by 16%, noise emissions by 40%, and are capable of carrying 4% more passengers than traditional aircraft.
