In total, the Irish low-cost carrier will increase it’s traffic by 15% to seven million passengers.

“Ryanair is pleased to officially open four exciting new summer routes for Vienna.”

“The first flights to Split and Tirana depart from Vienna Airport today (April 5th), the first flights to Olbia and Rijeka will follow in the coming months, offering customers/visitors to Vienna an even greater selection at the lowest prices.”

“This summer Ryanair will offer 80 routes to/from Vienna Airport, including four exciting new connections to Olbia, Rijeka, Split and Tirana, which can now be booked on ryanair.com.”

Adding to this was Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport:

“With 19 stationed aircraft and 80 direct destinations from Vienna, Ryanair is an important location partner for us.”

Growth continues for Ryanair, with plenty of announcements made ahead of the busy Summer 2024 season.

Last week, the airline revealed that 13.6m passengers were handled in March, an eight per cent increase.

Furthermore, as well as Vienna flights, Ryanair will be returning to Tel Aviv on June 1.

And recently, the Irish low-cost carrier revealed an expansion of flights out of Berlin as well.

So it is clear that growth is on the table and continues to do so.
