Ryanair Comments

Alicja Wójcik-Gołębiowska, Country Manager CEE & Baltics at Ryanair, expressed her enthusiasm for the expanded flight schedule, in light of increased service interest, stating:

“As Rzeszów’s No. 1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce an extremely rich flight schedule with a new route to sunny Alicante.”

“We are observing a constant increase in interest in our routes to and from Jasionka, which has led us to increase our offer to a total of eight routes, including the offer of such sunny destinations as Alicante or Zadar, or ideal city break destinations such as Dublin, Manchester, or London.”

Ryanair at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport

Bartosz Górski, vice-president of Rzeszów-Jasionka airport, echoed Alicja’s sentiments and emphasized the significance of Ryanair’s presence at the airport:

“Ryanair has been a leading and proven carrier for our airport for years and currently accounts for one-third of all passenger traffic. That’s almost 340 thousand passengers served in 2023 among a record million, and we believe that this number will grow along with the offer of the Irish carrier.”

“We are happy with the new route to Alicante, the continuation of the seasonal route to Zadar, and maintaining the remaining destinations, which still show excellent occupancy rates, but we have common ambitions for more destinations and flight frequencies.”

Górski expressed support for a Ryanair base in Jasionka, saying it would represent “a huge opportunity for dynamic development for the airport, and for the inhabitants of Podkarpacie and the surrounding area.”

Since October 2005, Ryanair has been serving passengers from the Podrzeszów airport, catering to almost 5.5 million travelers during that time.

With its best year recorded in 2018, Ryanair continues to play a pivotal role in connecting Rzeszów with the world.
