Ryanair Maintains Kerry Winter Services, Grows Knock

Ryanair has this week laid out its winter scheduling for two Irish destinations, which includes Kerry being kept on and Knock growing in routes.

The Irish low-cost carrier has been making significant announcements over the past few weeks from its bases in Ireland, the UK & the rest of Europe.

On the Kerry front, Ryanair will be loading five routes into the Winter schedule, which will include popular destinations such as Frankfurt, London and Manchester.

52 weekly flights will be available to book, with the expectation that the airline will grow its passenger numbers from the area to 575,000 per annum.

Jade Kirwan, the airline’s Head of Communications commented on this:

“As Ireland and Kerry’s No.1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our winter 23/24 schedule at Kerry Airport, with 5 destinations including exciting city break destinations like Frankfurt, London, and Manchester.”

“Our winter operation not only offers our customers in Kerry and the surround areas unbeatable choice at the lowest fares, but also drives year-round connectivity and inbound tourism for the region, promotes important rural development and supports over 400 local jobs.”

For Knock, 10 routes will be on offer, of which two will be brand new, offering services to Lanzarote and Tenerife.

70 weekly flights will be on offer, with the expectation that traffic from the Irish airport will grow to 880,000 passengers per annum.

Kirwan also added to this saying:

“As Ireland’s and Knock’s No.1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our winter 23/24 schedule at Ireland West Airport Knock, with 10 routes including 2 exciting new winter sun routes for our West and North-West customers.”

“With the addition of our new Tenerife route and the extension of our popular summer route to Lanzarote into the winter period, as well as an abundance of city break destinations, such as Edinburgh, Liverpool, and London, Ryanair has an unbeatable selection of destinations for our West and North-West customers to choose from this winter.”

All eyes will be on the airline to see what the performance will look like from the two Irish airports.
