Following a recently announced partnering with online travel agent (OTA) loveholidays.com, Ryanair has now firmed another partnership with the OTA Kiwi.com.

This guarantees that Kiwi will now have direct access to the Ryanair.com website without screenscraping, and Kiwi in turn will provide their customers with low Ryanair prices for flights and ancillaries.

Partnership Benefits

Direct Access to Ryanair Offers

One of the most significant aspects of this partnership is the direct access that Kiwi.com customers now have to Ryanair’s offerings.

By bypassing traditional screenscraping methods, Kiwi.com ensures that its customers can access genuine Ryanair prices for flights and ancillaries without any mark-ups.

This direct integration not only simplifies the booking process but also guarantees transparency in pricing, eliminating any concerns about overcharges or pricing scams.

Seamless Booking Experience

With this collaboration, Kiwi.com customers gain seamless access to their myRyanair account, where they can manage their bookings effortlessly.

This means no more tedious customer verification processes, streamlining the entire booking journey for passengers.

Enhanced Travel Flexibility

Beyond simplifying bookings, the partnership with Kiwi.com opens up new avenues for travel flexibility. Through Kiwi’s virtual interline service, passengers can now book connecting flights with ease.

What sets this service apart is Kiwi’s commitment to passenger satisfaction; in the event of a missed connection, Kiwi pledges to reaccommodate passengers on the next available flight free of charge.

This added layer of flexibility provides travelers with peace of mind, knowing that their journey is supported every step of the way.

Upholding Consumer Rights

Ryanair’s stance against OTA Pirate overcharges and pricing scams has been a recent issue of note. By advocating for transparent partnerships like the one with Kiwi.com, Ryanair aims to protect travelers from deceptive online practices.

Ryanair spokesperson Dara Brady said: “We are pleased to announce this new approved OTA agreement with Kiwi.com. “

“Ryanair has long campaigned for all consumers to be protected from OTA Pirate overcharges and scams, and to eliminate fake customer contact and payment info being provided to airlines.”

“This new partnership with Kiwi represents a significant step in achieving that protection for all Kiwi customers who will now get access to Ryanair’s low fares and ancillary services with no overcharges, which will enable Kiwi to offer Ryanair’s low prices to all its customers.”

Summary

By embracing collaboration over conflict, Kiwi.com emphasizes the importance of fostering positive relationships with airlines for the mutual benefit of all stakeholders.

Golan Shaked, Chief Commercial Officer, Kiwi.com concluded: “The announcement today of the cooperation with Ryanair is a positive one, ending a period of friction that has impacted our customers. It reflects our commitment to establishing relationships with all airlines for the benefit of customers and our long-term business objectives.”
