Ryanair Celebrates 25 Years of Operations in Biarritz

Low-cost giant Ryanair is celebrating a milestone: 25 years of serving Biarritz Airport! To mark this occasion, they’ve unveiled an impressive summer program for 2024, promising to transport nearly 200,000 passengers.

This exciting program boasts over 40 weekly flights across 5 fantastic routes. Two brand new destinations have been added, perfect for a city break with a difference: Milan Bergamo and Edinburgh.

Ryanair’s Biarritz connections now span 5 countries – Belgium, England, Italy, Ireland, and Scotland – offering a wealth of choice for both locals and visitors.

The program is expected to create over 150 jobs and provide a significant boost to the local tourism industry.

Ryanair’s commitment to Biarritz began in 1999 with their very first flight, connecting the city to London Stansted.

Since then, they’ve carried nearly 4 million passengers to and from the Basque gem. To celebrate this long-standing partnership and the impressive 21% growth expected for summer 2024, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares starting from just €29.99.
