Ryanair Carries 11.7m Passengers in November, Nearing 200m

Ryanair handled 11.7m passengers in November, as the carrier continues to grow at a strong rate, with the 200 million passengers per year mark not far away at all.

The Irish low-cost carrier continues to grow in velocity through the addition of new routes and new aircraft delivered in recent weeks.

Ryanair handled 11.7m passengers in November 2023, which is an increase of four per cent compared to the same period last year.

Load factors remained the same at a very healthy 92% across it’s route network, having operated 66,400 flights, 960 of which were cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict.

For the 12-month rolling period to November, Ryanair has handled 180.8m passengers, which is a 14% increase from the 158.4m recorded in November 2022, nearing the 200m annual passenger mark very quickly.

Load factors have climbed three percentage points to 94% in that rolling period.

The carrier continues to grow with some strength, particularly in the UK market.

Towards the end of November, the airline announced the launch of their summer schedule from the UK, with a staggering 37m seats on offer.

Commenting on the 37 million seats on offer for UK passengers was the airline’s Head of Communications, Jade Kirwan:

All eyes will be on Ryanair to see how their Summer 2024 season performs in the UK following a successful period this year already.

The Irish low-cost carrier continues to grow at high velocity, with hundreds of aircraft on order, and consistent deliveries taking place every month as well, with no end in sight for future growth of 300m passengers by FY34.
