Ryanair announces new ground handling agreement with Skytanking Aviation Services

European low-cost airline Ryanair, has inked a new ground handling agreement with Skytanking Aviation Services.

The collaboration, slated to commence from April 2024, is to provide ground handling services for the carrier’s growing network across key airports, including Germany’s Eindhoven Airport.

Supporting Increased Network Operations

With an extensive network spanning over 3,600 daily flights and now ferrying more than 183.5 million passengers annually, Ryanair is seeking efficient ground handling support for its burgeoning operational network.

On time performance becomes a critical consideration, dictating the need for efficient operations from the ground up.

Tom Kelly, Deputy Director of Ground Operations at Ryanair, expressed his enthusiasm for the newly forged partnership.

He emphasized its pivotal role in sustaining Ryanair’s renowned swift turnaround times, a cornerstone of its commitment to offering budget-friendly air travel.

“This initial 6-year deal will ensure that Ryanair can continue to deliver its industry-leading turnaround times, a vital part in keeping our fares low for our customers,” Kelly emphasized.

Kelly also reiterated the significance of such collaborations in preserving competitive fares for the airline’s loyal customer base.
