Ryanair has announced a further route addition to its Cornwall Winter 23/24 scheduling, with a service planned from London Stansted Airport (STN).
Commencing on Sunday, 17th December, a new twice-weekly service to Stansted amplifies Ryanair’s existing winter 23/24 route selection, which already boasts connections to Alicante, Dublin, Faro, and Malaga.
Ryanair’s Cornwall Winter 23/24 Schedule
Ryanair previously introduced five routes, including the debut of connections to Dublin, Faro, Malaga, and now the newly announced London-Stansted.
This expansion not only boosts connectivity, but will also foster local growth, with over 120 jobs set to be supported by this move.
Cornwall’s Projected Passenger Surge
The impact on Cornwall is projected to be fairly significant. Anticipated traffic growth is substantial, with numbers expected to soar to over 200,000 passengers annually.
The Winter travel period stands to raise Cornwall’s status as a bustling hub, stimulating economic activity and creating further opportunities for the community.
Ryanair’s contribution is notable. Operating an extensive network of over 440 routes and ferrying more than 52 million passengers annually on its fleet of 107 UK-based aircraft, the airline represents a staggering $10.7 billion investment.
Beyond the numbers, Ryanair remains something of a driving force, ensuring year-round connectivity and inbound tourism that supports a staggering 37,000 UK jobs.
The unveiling of the London-Stansted – Cornwall route for winter 23/24 furthers Ryanair’s commitment to Cornwall’s economic revival.
Through year-round tourism, regional investments, and the creation of over 120 local jobs, Ryanair becomes not just an airline but a key business partner in Cornwall’s economic journey.
Residents of Cornwall now have the opportunity to book their travels on Ryanair’s new London-Stansted route.
The allure of experiencing all that London has to offer is just a flight away, whether it’s for business, visiting friends and family, or indulging in festive Christmas shopping before the big day.
Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, expresses the airline’s pleasure, saying: “Ryanair is pleased to build on our biggest ever winter schedule for Cornwall with the addition of our new London-Stansted route for winter 23/24.”
“It is providing even more choice and value to our customers in the south-west as we continue to drive Cornwall’s economic recovery through our delivery of year-round tourism, regional investment, and support of over 120 local jobs.”
