Ryanair Adds 2,000 Seats for UEFA Euros 2024

Earlier this week, European LCC, Ryanair, announced that they will be adding over 2000 extra seats for the UEFA Euros 2024.

This article will cover the details surrounding Ryanair adding an extra 2000 seats to its flight program for the UEFA Euros 2024.

Ryanair Adds 2000 Extra Euros 2024 Seats

Starting on June 14, 2024, the UEFA Euros 2024 will start in Germany. With the first match being between Germany and Scotland (Group A).

The extra flights that Ryanair is adding will run between June 19 and June 22. These will operate to Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN). The extra seats will be to support the match between England and Denmark at Germany’s Frankfurt Arena on June 20.

The flights are as follows –

  • June 19 – Bristol Airport (BRS) to Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) departing at 08:40 a.m.
  • June 19 – Manchester Airport (MAN) to Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) departing at 11:00 a.m.
  • June 19 – Birmingham Airport (BHX) to Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) departing at 19:15 p.m.
  • June 19 – London Stansted Airport (STN) to Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) departing at 19:50 p.m.
  • June 21 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to London Stansted Airport (STN) departing at 13:50 p.m.
  • June 21 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to Bristol Airport (BRS) departing at 18:55 p.m.
  • June 21 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to London Stansted Airport (STN) departing at 22:35 p.m.
  • June 21 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to Manchester Airport (MAN) departing at 22:40 p.m.
  • June 21 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to London Stansted Airport (STN) departing at 23:00 p.m.
  • June 22 – Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) to Birmingham Airport (BHX) departing at 10:50 a.m.

Senior Comments


Firstly, commenting on the additional flights, Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s Head of Comms, says, “With England set to take on Denmark at Germany’s Frankfurt Arena on Thurs, 20th June in the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage, Ryanair has added over 2,000 extra seats for England fans travelling to watch what’s set to be an unforgettable match in-person.”

“We have extra flights from London Stansted, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham, ensuring that fans can conveniently get to/from Frankfurt on match day, as well as having the opportunity to soak up the pre- and post-game atmosphere on the ground.”

Finally, adding to Kirwan’s comments, Rüdiger Franke, Managing Director of TRIWO Hahn Airport, says, “We as an airport are also looking forward to a big football festival in Germany.”

“The fact that football fans are taking advantage of Ryanair’s attractive offers to travel to Hahn Airport and start their European Championship adventure from there is a great thing. As usual, we are optimally prepared as an airport.”
