Rosaviatsia, Russia’s aviation regulator, has approved plans for carrier Red Wings to provide the country of Georgia with 284 weekly flights.

As it stands, Russia is waiting on Georgia to issue approval on their side, but if approved, this represents a considerable expansion between the two countries.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

Seeking Other Markets…

With sanctions imposed on Russia due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, this has forced airlines such as Red Wings to add services to other countries across the world where this doesn’t apply.

For the country of Georgia, this will be welcome news about the huge increase in weekly flights, provided that they get approved by its regulator.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on Russia to see where it will be offering this level of expansion next, as airlines in the country will be wanting to find as many ways as possible to make money.

All will no doubt be revealed in due course.
