Middle Eastern carrier, Royal Jordanian Airlines, has recently expanded its deal with software and technology provider, Sabre.

This announcement comes from a renewal of an existing partnership with the company and now the airline is looking to expand that deal.

Currently, Royal Jordanian is able to distribute its content across the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) to a large number of travel agents and corporations worldwide, which they will continue to do.

Now the expanded deal will allow the airline to deploy a set of Sabre technology including Sabre’s Dynamic availability and Fares Manager and Optimiser.

By having this, Royal Jordanian will be able to continue its growth into the future whilst doing it a more flexible and modern manner.

What is Dynamic Availability and Fare Manager & Optimiser?

Dynamic Availability is a system that gives control to airlines when it comes to their pricing. It does so by leveraging shopping data, automating fare changes and enabling dynamic pricing capabilities to generate recommendations that help drive incremental revenue opportunities.

As for Fares Manager and Optimiser, these systems bring complete automation across the board and intelligence to airline pricing to increase productivity and improve revenue opportunities.

Darren Rickey, Senior Vice President and Airlines Sales at Sabre Travel Solutions said: “As a key building block for personalised retailing, our dynamic pricing enables airlines to optimise availability at scale and unlock greater value by maximising revenue”.

He then added: “We are thrilled to expand our long standing relationship with Royal Jordanian, one of the forward thinking airlines in the Middle East region and help them deploy some of the industry leading technology that brings broader possibilities and insightful information about their guests, so they can remain competitive and succeed in this ever evolving industry”.

So far, Sabre provides technology and consultancy to more than 225 airlines around the world, including some of the worlds largest carriers.

Sabre’s broad offering of flexible and scalable software allows airlines of all sizes to operate exactly how they want, whilst achieving the best financial results.

The systems also allow airlines to adapt their business to any changing conditions or requirements within the industry, so they can remain competitive.

Overall, by airlines choosing to use Sabre’s technology, they can expect to see consistent increasing revenue, falling costs and the ability to provide an enhanced travel experience.
