In a win at the 2024 Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Awards held in Singapore, Rex Airlines has taken out the recognition for the South Pacific’s Best in Cabin Service.
This award was graciously accepted by Rex’s Executive Chairman, Lim Kim Hai, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to providing an unparalleled in-flight experience.

The backdrop for this year’s awards was the FTE APEX Asia Expo in Singapore, an event that stands as the platform for the air transport industry’s focus on passenger experience and business performance.
The accolade comes as a result of nearly one million flights being anonymously rated by passengers worldwide, utilizing a comprehensive five-star scale.
According to APEX, Rex Airlines stood out among the 600 airlines assessed, with passengers praising the airline’s cabin service.
Rex’s Executive Chairman, Lim Kim Hai expressing his pride, highlighted, “We pride ourselves on our warm, heartfelt country hospitality which sets us apart from all other airlines.”

Acknowledging the challenging conditions they sometimes face, Lim Kim Hai expressed gratitude for passengers’ spontaneous acknowledgment in the surveys.
“This award recognizes their tremendous efforts put in every day to exceed expectations in sometimes very difficult conditions, and it is indeed gratifying to see our passengers acknowledging this spontaneously in the surveys,” he commented.

This recent triumph further adds to Rex Airlines’ recent string of successes, which include the Skytrax award for Best Regional Airline Australia & Pacific and the Australian Aviation award for Airline of the Year.
