Qatar Airways set to resume Lisbon flight services

Qatar Airways has confirmed that it will resume flights to Lisbon, Portugal, as part of its extensive 2024 network expansion.

With over 170 destinations in its network, including 50 European destinations, Qatar Airways is now set to reconnect passengers from Hamad International to the vibrant capital of Portugal.

The renewed service will facilitate broader connections across Africa, Asia , Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

Lisbon: Rich Heritage and Attractions

Lisbon, as the capital of Portugal, serves as the gateway to a virtual treasure trove of historical sites and cultural attractions.

Travelers can immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of the city, starting with day trips to the enchanting medieval town of Sintra.

Here, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Quinta de Regaleira palace, stands as a testament to centuries of history and architectural brilliance.

Commenting on the resumption of flights to Lisbon, Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, referred to the airline’s expansion in the European market.

“As we continue to expand in the European market, we celebrate the resumption of our flights to the beautiful city of Lisbon,” he said.

“Qatar Airways passengers can now enjoy very efficient ways to travel between Qatar and Portugal, as well as connect between Portugal and Asia, Africa, Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.”
