Qatar Airways moves Goa operations to Manohar Airport

Qatar Airways is set move its operations to the new Manohar International Airport (GOX) located in the North Goa district, India.

With the move, the airline will cease operations at Dabolim Airport (GOI) on 20 June 2024. Its last departure from Hamad International Airport (DOH) to GOI will be on 19 June 2024.

Since its inception in 2009, Qatar Airways has been an integral part of Goa’s aviation landscape. The transition moves from the current Dabolim Airport (GOI) to the upcoming Manohar International Airport (GOX).

The transition to GOX promises an enhanced passenger experience for Qatar Airways’ travelers.

Daily Flight Schedule

Passenger needs are catered for by the daily flight schedule between Doha (DOH) and Goa (GOX).

With QR522 departing from DOH at 19:40 and arriving at GOX at 01:55, and QR523 departing from GOX at 03:40 and arriving at DOH at 05:00, travelers can enjoy flexible travel options.

Operational Moving Dates

To ensure a smooth transition, Qatar Airways has outlined the operational moving dates for its flights.

The last DOH-GOI flight is scheduled to operate on June 19th, 2024. The final GOI-DOH flight then follows on June 20th, 2024.

The inaugural DOH-GOX flight is set for June 20th, 2024, with the return GOX-DOH flight commencing on June 21st, 2024.

Currently, Qatar Airways flies to 13 destinations in India including:

Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Qatar Airways currently flies to more than 170 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.

The airport recently received the ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ accolade for the ninth time in a row, as well as ‘World’s Best Airport Shopping’.
