Commitment to Regional Development

Hon. William Powi emphasizes the importance of ensuring vital air services reach Mendi and Moro. He announces a forthcoming press conference with relevant government authorities to outline the next steps that will make air travel in the Southern Highlands Province a reality.

The collaboration between the SHP Government and PNG Air exemplifies a robust public-private partnership, showcasing Hon. William Powi’s dedication to regional development.

This collaboration leverages PNG Air’s extensive air transport network, supported by modern ATR aircraft, to deliver tangible benefits to the people of SHP.
