Penang & Langkawi have this week celebrated new flights from Dubai, as flydubai inaugurated new services over the weekend.

This means the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia now represents four destinations in two countries, with the other destinations being Krabi and Pattaya in Thailand.

Commenting on the inauguration of new flights into Penang & Langkawi from Dubai was Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent) at flydubai:

flydubai have marketed the launch of these new flights to Langkawi & Penang through the Chinese New Year, with the inaugurations matched to the day of the event.

In total, there will be 15 days of celebration for this event, with the airline encouraging passengers to book flights into Southeast Asia.
