Montenegro the Next Big Market for Pegasus?

Montenegro does appear to be a market that Pegasus Airlines is keen on, having dubbed the country “one of the most popular European holiday destinations”.
The first service was inaugurated by one of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft but has since been consistent with the use of its Airbus A320neo aircraft, as per data from RadarBox.com.
On top of this, it means that the country will now be part of the extensive Pegasus network, which features 128 destinations across 49 countries.

What we can see from the data on Pegasus Airlines is that they are catching up to pre-COVID numbers, with their movement numbers up also from last year.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the carrier to see how much further they can take these operations, especially in the midst of a very busy and impactful Summer 2023 season too.
But for now, let’s see how the rest of their summer goes and go from there, including how this new route in Montenegro is performing too.
