Commenting on the deal was Thome Maursund, the Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian:

“We enjoy great cooperation with TUI, and we are delighted to continue this into the coming winter and summer seasons.”

“TUI is the largest charter operator and connects customers to many popular leisure destinations.”

“As we continue to modernise our fleet, we are looking forward to welcoming many new customers onboard and making sure they have a brilliant start to their holidays”.

Adding to this was Tommy Serban, the Commercial Officer for TUI Nordic added to the context of the airline chartering operations in Norway, Sweden & Denmark:

“We are happy to renew our partnership with Norwegian. Like TUI, Norwegian is an established operator with high trust among the travellers in Scandinavia.”

“The airfare is an important part of the travel experience and of high priority for us in TUI, and feedback from our customers surveys show that Norwegian is doing an excellent job”.

This deal between the two sides will no doubt offer great flexibility going into the Winter 2023/24 season, which is expected to be a busy period in the Norway, Sweden & Denmark markets.

All eyes will be on how this deal goes and whether there is scope to extend this beyond the Summer 2024 season.
