Norse Atlantic Airways has seen the successful launch of its inaugural direct flight between Oslo, Norway, and Bangkok, Thailand, which took place on Thursday, 2 November 2023.

The introduction of the new long-haul service has positioned Norse Atlantic as the sole airline to offer a non-stop route connecting these two culturally rich and dynamic destinations.

The launch of Norse Atlantic Airways’ new route from Oslo to Bangkok is a key moment for both the airline and the nations it serves.

The ceremony celebrating this significant milestone was graced by the presence of Thailand’s Ambassador to Norway, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, and Deputy Airport Director, Ms. Dorothy-Anne Billett.

Thailand Ambassador Ruksakiati emphasized the importance of this achievement, saying, “Today is certainly a milestone of achievement. I’d like to express my deep appreciation to Norse Atlantic Airways for their positive contribution in further strengthening our bilateral relations.”

“This historic inaugural flight marks a key step in bringing our two nations closer together through the promotion of tourism.”
