With its focus on transatlantic operations, the carrier recently announced four new route services from its London Gatwick base.

Strong start to 2023

The airline has set off on a firm footing this year, having recently turned in the sound February 2023 performance.

Throughout February, Norse Atlantic saw the announcement of the full summer program and schedule, which featured six new routes from their base at London Gatwick (LGW).

With that announcement, the total routes to be served from London and the UK moves to seven. It also cements the airline as the number one carrier to operate between the London airport and the United States.

In what became a record-breaking month for the budget airline, the carrier saw a recorded aggregate load factor for the month at 50%, including the ACMI charters the company has flown.

Additionally, 203 flights were operated with 80% of the flights arriving within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time. This marks an improvement of 6% compared to the previous month.

In addition to the four new route services from London Gatwick airport, the carrier also augmented its transatlantic offerings with the new connection from Rome to New York in January this year.
