About MYAirline

MYAirline Sdn Bhd also known as MYAirline, formerly known as Z9 Elite Sdn Bhd, is the country’s newest low-cost carrier (LCC) that was founded in January 2021.

The airline hopes to disrupt the already saturated and established airline market in the country, crowned by Air Asia, followed by Malaysian Airlines, Malindo, and Firefly respectively.

MYAirline hopes to bring a progressive taste to the market by offering a chique image and a younger look to attract the growing demographics of younger travelers.

The airline currently has 4 Airbus A320s and is due a good handful more as part of its current steady growth plans.

With flights from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Kota Bharu, Penang, Sibu, Tawau, and Miri.

As expected the Malaysian low-cost carrier is rapidly growing its network within Malaysia, and by the second quarter of this year (2023), hopes to venture into the ever-competitive ASEAN region, by providing affordable travel with quality of services in mind.

The airline, with a modern trendy look, gives an innovative and sustainable taste to its branding, and across its products and services to ensure passengers are engaged with the brand.

Overall…

The airline aims to be Malaysia’s best and favorite airline by conquering the already-established AirAsia.

With Air Asia operating more than 70 aircraft in Malaysia, whilst MYAirlines has 4 and a handful more to arrive, it will take some time for the new low-cost carrier to realize its dream.

Considering its ambitious goals, it did an excellent job in launching during the pandemic with positive reception.
