Adding to this was Heinrich Lange, the Senior Director of Sales in Northern Europe for Lufthansa:

“Oktoberfest in Munich enjoys popularity worldwide, especially in Great Britain. Visitors from the United Kingdom are among the top nationalities at this festival.

“The departure from London Stansted is particularly interesting for all Oktoberfest fans traveling from the East of England and North London.”

Lufthansa said that the flights will be as low as £124 return for these services, so it will be interesting to see how well they perform and whether this will form the foundation of repeat services for Oktoberfest 2024.
