Manchester Airport has secured another route into Germany through the addition of services to Stuttgart with Eurowings starting next year.

It is understood that this service will commence on a four times per week basis, using the airline’s Airbus A319 aircraft.

Without further ado, let’s get into it…

Commenting on this new route from Manchester to Stuttgart, Germany was the airport’s Managing Director, Chris Woodroofe:

“We are thrilled to be adding another new destinations to what is already the most extensive route network of any UK airport outside of London, giving our passengers even more choice when planning their next trip”.

Manchester Airport already has an extensive route network into Germany, with them providing direct connectivity to the following destinations:

  • Berlin
  • Cologne
  • Dusseldorf
  • Frankfurt
  • Hamburg
  • Munich

The airport continues to solidify it’s connections into Europe, with this new Stuttgart route as an example of this.

Plenty of tourists from Germany fly into Manchester to see the sights, particularly during the Winter season, when the Christmas markets are out to play.

With the transformation programme in full effect at the airport, this is enabling them to open themselves up to further connection links later down the line.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the airport to see what other routes they could launch as a result of their expansion programme.

But for now, all eyes will be on how the new service to Stuttgart with Eurowings will perform when it launches in the Spring of 2024.
