In the ever-evolving landscape of travel, convenience is key. Malaysia Airlines has taken this onboard, and they have now unveiled their latest offering: MHrail.

This innovative product will provide seamless rail connections alongside flights, all accessible through a single booking.

Partnerships for Enhanced Travel

To bring MHrail to life, Malaysia Airlines has expanded its partnership with AccesRail, a renowned leader in air-rail intermodal solutions.

This collaboration opens up a world of possibilities for travelers, allowing them to seamlessly book onward train connectivity, thereby unlocking the opportunity to explore neighboring cities with greater ease.

Connecting the Dots: From Seoul to London

One of the highlights of MHrail is its ability to connect passengers across diverse destinations. For instance, customers can now book Korail KTX train tickets to and from Incheon International Airport in South Korea.

Additionally, travelers can access train tickets between London Heathrow in the United Kingdom and various destinations along the East Coast via the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) and the West Coast with Avanti West Coast.

How to Access Malaysia Airlines MHrail

Booking your MHrail journey is simple and straightforward. Tickets are readily available for purchase on Malaysia Airlines’ official website as well as through all Global Distribution Systems (GDS) travel agencies.

With just a few clicks, passengers can secure both their flight and train tickets, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience from start to finish.

Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group, expressed his excitement about this new venture, highlighting how MHrail provides passengers with a seamless avenue to purchase both flight and train tickets.

“With the introduction of our new MHrail product, we provide passengers with a seamless avenue to purchase both flight and train tickets, making it convenient for our guests to explore neighbouring cities and enjoy onward connections upon arrival in London or Seoul through a single itinerary and ticket,” said Aresandiran.

This initiative is all about convenience, enabling guests to explore nearby regions and enjoy onward connections with ease.

A Bright Future Ahead

Andrew Popescu, Vice President Business Development at AccesRail, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the deepening cooperation between AccesRail and Malaysia Airlines.

“AccesRail and Malaysia Airlines have worked together for many years with interline opportunities that have expanded the airline’s route network.”

“We are excited to be deepening our Malaysia Airlines-AccesRail cooperation and look forward to continuing with them on a global scale,” said Popescu.

With this enhanced partnership, Malaysia Airlines aims to offer its customers more destinations and possibilities in a simple, streamlined fashion.
