Lynx Air adds Cancún Mexico to its international network

This week, Lynx Air added Mexico as the third country in its international network, inaugurating a new route from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to the vibrant Cancún International Airport.

The Canadian ultra-low cost airline will now operate six direct flights per week between these two destinations, providing over 2,000 seats weekly for travelers in both directions.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority has welcomed Lynx Air’s expansion efforts, recognizing the increased choice and convenience it brings to travelers flying out of YYZ.

“Cancun is our highest-demand international destination, with more than 2,000 passengers headed down to the beach every day,” said Kurush Minocher, Executive Director, Airlines Relations and Customer Experience, Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

“We’re pleased to see Lynx continue to grow their network from YYZ and provide passengers with increased choice.”
