On top of it’s expansion of Copenhagen and adding Helsinki, Lufthansa Cargo did also note that services to Stockholm will have further connections soon.

Commenting on this was Ashwin Bhat, the CEO of the cargo subsidiary of the business:

“Looking ahead, our strategic goal is to further expand our network and logistics in the Nordic countries by offering shorter transport times and reliable and tailored solutions for our customers”.

“We are very pleased about the extension of the new connections.”

“It reflects what we want to offer with our A321F fleet: Fast services across borders matching the exact needs in terms of routing and schedule as per the customers’ requirements and their transportation needs,”

In addition to the expanded short- and medium-haul offering, Lufthansa Cargo will provide its customers 83 weekly connections with 16 Boeing 777 freighters to intercontinental destinations in this year’s winter flight schedule.

Thereby the air freight expert enables the belly capacities of more than 6,000 flights operated by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines and SunExpress.

Looking ahead, this is strong news for the Group as they continue to attempt and adopt a level of cargo dominance across Europe.
