Comprehensive Learning Experience

The programme is structured to provide a holistic learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Apprentices will spend their first year at East Surrey College in Redhill, where they will study a range of practical and theory-based subjects, working towards a BTEC level three qualification.

Subsequent years will see apprentices rotating through various engineering sectors at the airport, including airfield, baggage, Specialist Systems, shuttles, and HVAC, among others.

Earn While You Learn

One of the key benefits of London Gatwick’s apprenticeship programme is the opportunity to earn while you learn.

Apprentices will receive hands-on experience in real-world engineering environments while earning a competitive salary.

This unique combination of work and study ensures that apprentices graduate with both practical skills and industry-standard qualifications.

A Pathway to Employment

Upon successful completion of the programme, apprentices will emerge as fully-qualified Engineering Technicians, equipped with industry-recognized qualifications.

This opens doors to a wide range of career opportunities within the aviation industry, setting the stage for a successful and fulfilling career journey.
