KlasJet extends ACMI agreement with FlyEgypt

Following a successful short-term agreement, KlasJet, an exclusive private and corporate jet charter company, and ACMI service provider, has recently entered into a year-long contract with FlyEgypt for wet-leasing services.

FlyEgypt is an Egyptian low-cost and charter airline. The contractual partnership involves the leasing of a Boeing 737 aircraft, which will be based at Hurghada International Airport and operate flights to multiple destinations across Europe.

Augustinas Riskus, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at KlasJet, commented on this partnership: “Earlier this year, we began working with FlyEgypt for a 2-month partnership and are thrilled that the airline was satisfied with our services, which led to an extension of our collaboration for an additional year.”

FlyEgypt is an Egyptian low-cost and charter airline headquartered in Cairo. It was founded in 2014 and started operations on February 12, 2015.

The airline’s main base is Cairo International Airport, with a secondary hub at Hurghada International Airport. FlyEgypt flies to a network of destinations in Egypt, Europe, and the Middle East.

According to Planespotters data, FlyEgypt currently operates two Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline has a codeshare agreement with Air Cairo and is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.
