Kenya Airways has announced this week that it will substantially increase services between Nairobi and London Heathrow to twice-daily.
At the moment, the airline currently serves the UK capital 10 times per week using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Kenya Airways Increases Nairobi-London To Twice Daily…

It is understood that this route upgrade from 10-weekly to twice-daily on the Nairobi-London Heathrow route will begin on October 29 for Kenya Airways.
In a statement, this is what the airline had to say on this expansion:
“Kenya Airways has been operating flights to London since its inception as a gateway to the United Kingdom (UK) for business travel, leisure travel, trade, and education travel.”
“KQ will deploy the B787 Boeing Dreamliner on the route bringing the total flights per week to 14 up from 10 flights.”
“The additional weekly flights will cater to the increased market demand for this route and growing passenger demand.”
Within this route from Nairobi, the KQ100 rotation will be the morning flight, with the KQ102 being the evening.
Kenya Airways currently has a fleet of nine Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft that service the majority of international services in its portfolio, with its Boeing 737 Family & Embraer E190 aircraft catering to the domestic & less further afield needs of the business.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the airline to see how the expansion of the Nairobi-London Heathrow route will go for them at the end of October.
