Jetstar now has 100 domestic flight options from Brisbane as new flights to Melbourne’s Avalon Airport are announced.
The Australian carrier has grown significantly over the last 20 years, with this week’s announcement an example of that.

The New Brisbane-Melbourne Avalon Flights…
The flights will between Brisbane and Melbourne Avalon from Jetstar will be serviced daily.
Flights are due to begin on June 28 this year, and will operate the following times until October 5:
- JQ634:
- AVV DEP 1500 BNE ARR 1820
- JQ635:
- BNE DEP 1930 AVV ARR 2140
From October 5 onwards, Jetstar will then apply the following timings on the Brisbane-Melbourne Avalon flights:
- JQ634:
- AVV DEP 2030 BNE ARR 2140
- JQ635:
- BNE DEP 1630 AVV ARR 1955
So other than that, the flights remain year-round for this new service starting up as the airline’s 100th domestic destination.
Tully: An Exciting Milestone for the Airline…
Commenting on the new flights between Brisbane and Melbourne Avalon was Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully:

In conclusion, this new addition of flights between Brisbane and Melbourne Avalon means more to Jetstar.
Servicing 100 domestic routes highlights the demand that there is for such travel around Australia.
