The wait is finally over for passengers in Liverpool. Jet2 have now begun operations out of the airport.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on what performance will look like out of the base.

With Manchester in close proximity, all eyes will be on whether this was the right choice made by the airline.

If this works, then this could encourage other carriers from Manchester adding flights into Liverpool.

But for now, let’s see how Summer 2024 goes with these new flights.
