Sustainable Aviation Fuel Initiatives

As part of its environmental stewardship, JAL plans to replace 1% of the onboard fuel with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on Japan-bound flights.

This move is a strategic effort to further diminish CO2 emissions and minimize the airline’s overall environmental impact.

By embracing sustainable practices, JAL is not only flying its passengers but also leading the way towards a more sustainable aviation industry.

Fleet Renewal

In a bid to enhance customer satisfaction and align with environmental goals, JAL is phasing out its Boeing 777-300ERs and ushering in the A350-1000 fleet.

With 13 A350-1000s on order, the airline is committed to embracing advanced technology and environmental efficiency.

This transition marks a pivotal moment in JAL’s journey towards a fleet that combines unparalleled comfort with eco-conscious performance.
