IndiGo to launch Bangkok services from Hyderabad

Major low-cost carrier IndiGo will commence daily direct flights between Hyderabad and Bangkok from February 26, 2024.

Notably, IndiGo proudly claims the title of being the first Indian carrier to establish this vital link between Hyderabad and Bangkok.

The anticipated network addition further expands the carrier’s connectivity with the southeast Asian region.

Hyderabad as an International Hub

Hyderabad, a bustling metropolis in southern India, has increasingly become a pivotal hub for international travel.

With IndiGo’s latest initiative, the city’s connectivity to global destinations expands further. Notably, this development catapults Hyderabad’s international connectivity from 8 destinations a year ago to an impressive 14, solidifying its status as a key player in the global aviation network.

IndiGo already boasts a robust network connecting major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Bhubaneshwar to Bangkok.

However, the addition of direct flights from Hyderabad significantly amplifies its presence in the region.

With these new routes, IndiGo will operate a total of 37 weekly flights between India and Bangkok, with Hyderabad proudly joining the ranks as the 6th Indian city directly linked to the Thai capital.

Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture, stating, “We are extremely pleased to announce our operations from Hyderabad to Bangkok, in-line with our vision to enhance accessibility across Southeast Asia.”

He emphasized IndiGo’s commitment to expanding connectivity and highlighted the significance of this new route in bridging two culturally rich destinations.

Moreover, he reiterated IndiGo’s core values of providing affordable, punctual, and customer-centric travel experiences.

Discovering Bangkok

Bangkok, the bustling capital of Thailand, beckons travelers with its myriad attractions. Renowned for its culinary delights, vibrant nightlife, and shopping extravaganza, Bangkok offers a sensory feast for visitors.
