IndiGo launches Super 6E fare structure on 14 additional routes

LONDON – Indian airline IndiGo has launched its Super 6E international fare structure on several additional routes from India.

These selected routes will now include Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Dammam, Jeddah, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Doha, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Male, Kathmandu, and Riyadh, effective January 20, 2023.

With these new additions, IndiGo now effectively offers its Super 6E fares on flights to 23 international destinations.

The airline launched this service on flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Singapore, Istanbul, Dhaka, Muscat, and Bahrain last year.

The new “Super 6E” fare for international routes will include an extra 10kg baggage allowance, free seat selection including XL seat, meal/snack combo of your choice, priority check-in and luggage collection on arrival.

Additional benefits include anytime boarding, delayed and lost baggage protection service, reduced change fee and reduced cancellation fee, as well as no convenience fee.

International and regional network expansion


IndiGo has certainly started off the 2023 New Year with a busy programme of continued expansion, building on its progressive regional and international network bolstering.

The carrier is certainly demonstrating a proactivity in implementing technologies and services to better serve its customer base.

On the regional front, the carrier recently announced the addition of 12 new flights and additional frequencies to its winter schedule, effective from February 01, 2023.

The additional flights will be introduced between regional destinations like Bengaluru Ahmedabad, Chennai-Ahmedabad, Bengaluru-North Goa, Mumbai-Rajkot, Raipur-Mumbai, KolkataGuwahati, Guwahati-Agartala and Port Blair-Chennai.

In addition to these services, IndiGo will also launch a new flight between Chandigarh and North Goa and additional frequencies on the Kolkata-Bengaluru and Bengaluru-Cochin routes.

The airline will resume operations on the Hyderabad – Chandigarh and Hyderabad – Srinagar sectors. These flights are being introduced to cater to the increasing demand and enhance air connectivity.

IndiGo will certainly be a carrier to watch as the New Year progresses.
