PLAY has been able to expand at a steady and collected pace due to positive results from last year.

This has allowed them to announce the launch of new flights from Iceland to Marrakech & Madeira.

PLAY marked a significant milestone in 2023 as its revenue doubled compared to the previous year.

Revenue for the full year in 2023 doubled from 140 million in 2022 to 282 million USD in 2023.

Looking at the final quarter of the year, revenues in Q4 were USD 65.7 million compared to USD 37.9 million in Q4 2022.

For the full year, the airline successfully reduced unit costs while notably improving its EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes).

In conclusion, these two new flights to Marrakech & Madeira with PLAY will no doubt provide strong success over the Winter.

For passengers in Iceland wanting warmer climates, these flights are perfect and are far away from the sub-zero temperatures.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on whether PLAY will unveil anymore routes, or whether this is it.

Remember, they are an airline well-known for careful and steady growth.

That is what has made them successful so far.
