Iberia adds Tirana as its 138th destination

Iberia is set to add the Albanian capital of Tirana to its list of destinations. On 28 March, the airline will begin operating three weekly flights from Madrid to Tirana’s Nënë Tereza International Airport.

Iberia’s New Connection to Tirana


Commencing on 28 March, Iberia will operate three weekly flights from Madrid to Tirana’s Nënë Tereza International Airport.

The schedule includes flights every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Travelers can look forward to a comfortable journey on A320neo aircraft, which have a spacious capacity of 186 passengers.

During the summer season of 2024, Iberia will offer a total of 32,364 seats between Spain and Albania, making it easier than ever to explore this vibrant Balkan nation.

Flight Schedule

The flight schedule for the latest route is as follows:

  • Outbound flights to Tirana: Tuesdays and Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 8:40 a.m.
  • Return flights: Tuesdays and Sundays at 11:45 a.m. and Thursdays at 12:25 p.m.

Iberia is not only introducing the Tirana route but also expanding its operations to other captivating destinations.

Travelers can now enjoy flights between Easter and the end of October to Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, Catania, and Ponta Delgada.

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, already a year-round destination, will see an average of three additional flights next summer, with a peak of 15 weekly flights in August. Explore the enchanting Old Town and stunning Adriatic views.

Zagreb

Zagreb is set to add an average of four flights, offering up to nine weekly flights in August. Discover the cultural riches of Croatia’s capital, from historic architecture to vibrant markets.

Catania

Catania, Italy, will have up to nine weekly flights in August 2024. Indulge in Sicilian cuisine, explore Mount Etna, and immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant culture.

Ponta Delgada

Ponta Delgada, located in the Azores, will have three weekly flights from Madrid, making it easier to experience the Azores’ natural beauty and tranquility.

Summary


Iberia’s commitment to expanding its routes extends beyond the Balkans and Italy. Travelers can now also enjoy flights to the Greek islands of Corfu, Mykonos, and Santorini, as well as the picturesque Sardinian city of Olbia from May to September.

Additionally, Bergen in Norway will be accessible from May to early September, providing travelers with more opportunities to explore the world with Iberia.
