This is the first of 16 Airbus A321neos that are bound for the carrier, joining their existing fleet of five Airbus A320ceos, 10 Airbus A320neos, and 11 Airbus A321ceos.

It is worth noting that HK Express is part of the Cathay Pacific Group, and with Cathay Pacific already operating 10 Airbus A321neos, this latest one marks the group’s 11th overall.

As with the rest of the group’s Airbus A321neos, the carriers’ latest is powered by CFM International’s LEAP-1A engines and has the seating capacity for up to 236 passengers. In an all-economy Airbus Airspace cabin.

New Livery

As you can see, the new A321neo is sporting a refreshed look for the carrier, showcasing a much more modern white and purple livery, with emphasis on the “e”. This can be seen on the aircraft’s tail, title markings, and sharklets.

This emphasis of the “e” symbolizes the start of a pleasant journey with the carrier.
