Hanoi in Vietnam is becoming more popular as Qatar Airways plans to add more flights over the course of this Summer and in the Winter too.
Between June and October, we will experience significant frequency upgrades from the carrier in Doha as operations ramp up.
Without further ado, let’s get into it…
Two Extra Flights in The Summer, Two More in the Winter For Hanoi…
As per AeroRoutes.com, the Doha-Hanoi route with Qatar Airways will have its frequencies upgraded twice in the Summer and twice in the Winter.
On June 4, services will increase from 10 flights per week to 12 per week.
By October 29, this will then increase to a staggering 14 weekly or twice-daily, highlighting the demand on that route.
Qatar Airways will utilize the Boeing 787-8 as normal on its services between Doha and Hanoi.
Qatar Airways Has Exceeded Pre-Pandemic Movement Numbers…
The increased capacity offerings on the Doha-Hanoi route with Qatar Airways highlight the airline’s rise back to growth on a post-pandemic basis.
Data from RadarBox.com shows that the carrier operated 578 flights based on a seven-day rolling average.
This represents an increase of 16.53% compared to the same period last year and is 18 movements stronger than in 2019.
What this also highlights is that Qatar Airways, for the first time in four years, are now on an upward trajectory once again in terms of the number of flights operated.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the carrier to see how much further this will climb to, especially as we approach the peak period of the Summer 2023 season months of June, July, and August.
