Gulf Air launches first flight to AlUla International Airport

The Royal Commission for AlUla celebrated the arrival of Gulf Air – the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the landing of its inaugural flight to AlUla International Airport on Saturday, 3 February 2024.

The new seasonal destination will be operated by the carrier’s A320neo aircraft, and will provide passengers with the opportunity to discover AlUla as a cultural destination with its distinctive history and scenery.

Direct Connectivity to AlUla

With its inaugural flight landing at AlUla International Airport (ULH) over the weekend, Gulf Air marks the beginning of direct connectivity between Bahrain and AlUla.

Gulf Air introduces two weekly direct flights to AlUla, operating in two phases: as a winter destination from 3 February to 6 March and as a summer destination from 13 to 24 April.

This strategic move aligns with Gulf Air’s commitment to expanding its network and meeting the evolving demands of its passengers.

A Historic Relationship
