Frontier Airlines Opens New Cleveland Crew Base

Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) marked a new milestone with the inauguration of its new crew base at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

The ceremony, attended by Frontier Airlines representatives, Cleveland Director of Port Control Bryant L. Francis, C.M., and Bonnie Teeuwen, Chief Operating Officer of the City of Cleveland, included a ribbon-cutting event to commemorate the occasion.

The base is expected to employ up to 110 pilots, 250 flight attendants and 50 aircraft maintenance personnel within its first year of operation.

Projections indicate employment for up to 110 pilots, 250 flight attendants, and 50 aircraft maintenance personnel within the first year.

Route Expansion

By summer, Frontier Airlines will serve a total of 30 destinations from Cleveland, representing a 38 percent increase in average peak summer daily departures compared to the previous year.
