At ITB Berlin this week, Qatar Airways unveiled a significant expansion of frequencies on it’s international flights.
Most of the changes are taking place this Summer, with Berlin’s changes happening in the Winter.

What Flights Are Qatar Airways Adding?
Ahead of the Summer 2024 season, Qatar Airways will be increasing frequencies on the following flights:
- Barcelona – 14 weekly to 21 weekly.
- Boston – Seven weekly to 10 weekly.
- Brussels – Seven weekly to 10 weekly.
- Copenhagen – Four weekly to seven weekly.
- Kuala Lumpur – Seven weekly to 14 weekly.
- Manchester – 18 weekly to 21 weekly.
- Miami – Seven weekly to 10 weekly.
- Nice – Four weekly to seven weekly.
- Oslo – Seven to 14 weekly.
- Paris – 21 weekly to 28 weekly.
- Rome – 18 weekly to 21 weekly.
- Seoul – Seven weekly to eight weekly.
- Tunis – Seven weekly to 10 weekly.
- Warsaw – 10 weekly to 14 weekly.
In the Winter, Qatar Airways will increase services out of Berlin from 14 weekly to 18 weekly.
CEO Al-Meer: Surge in Demand for Air Travel…
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said the following on demand:
“As a long-standing exhibitor at ITB Berlin, Qatar Airways understands what excites our audience, and is proud to bring something new to the trade show.”
“Innovation is a vital cornerstone of our mission, and with the new and improved Sama, we are taking another defining step towards enhancing our digital experience.”
“The multiple flight increases in our existing destination network emphasise the surge in demand for air travel, bridging together countries and people for better tourism and trade opportunities.”
Hamburg is another area where Qatar Airways has recently jumped into.
With that particular destination in mind, it means the airline is servicing Germany up to 71 times per week.
Overall…
In conclusion, this represents significant expansion in flights from Qatar Airways.
For the Summer 2024 season, this means an additional 57 weekly flights across the destinations listed above.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how the Summer season goes for the airline, as well as whether more expansion is on the way.
