Ahead of this weekend Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2023, Qatar Airways has just showcased its custom F1® branded 777 aircraft and F1 show car at the Hamad International Airport, Doha.

As the Official Global Airline Partner of F1® and the Title Sponsor of this thrilling event, Qatar Airways is set to host the world’s most elite drivers at the state-of-the-art Lusail International Circuit from 6th to 8th October.

The Arrival of Formula 1® in Doha


Formula 1® has made its way to Doha, Qatar, and the excitement is palpable. This event represents a cross-over of cutting-edge technology and motorsport passion, and it’s set to leave an indelible mark in the hearts of motorsport fans worldwide.

In true Qatar Airways fashion, the airline has unveiled a spectacle ahead of the weekend. Their Boeing 777 aircraft has been transformed into a canvas of vibrant F1® livery, showcasing the perfect blend of aviation and motorsport. It’s a visual treat that embodies the essence of speed and excellence.

A Grand Celebration


To celebrate this unique partnership and the striking F1® decal livery, the carrier hosted a memorable photo opportunity at the Hamad International Airport hangar.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Minister of Sports and Youth, His Excellency Mr. Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali; F1® CEO and President Stefano Domenicali; and BWT Alpine F1 Team drivers, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, among others.

The Weekend Schedule


The Qatar Grand Prix 2023 promises an action-packed weekend that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. Here’s a quick overview of the schedule:

Friday, 6 October

  • 16:30 – 17:30: Practice 1
  • 20:00 – 21:00: Qualifying

Saturday, 7 October

  • 16:00 – 16:44: Spring Shootout
  • 20:30 – 21:30: Sprint

Sunday, 8 October

  • 20:00: Race
