To mark the inauguration of this exciting new route, flynas hosted two separate events—one in Jeddah on October 3 and another in Bishkek on October 4, showcasing their commitment to both regions.

The festivities began at Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport on October 3. The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Ulukbek Maripov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Saudi Arabia.

Bishkek’s Grand Welcome

On October 4, Bishkek welcomed flynas with open arms as the inaugural flight from Jeddah touched down at Manas International Airport.

The aircraft was greeted with a ceremonial water salute, a symbol of honor and respect. His Excellency Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, joined His Excellency Ulukbek Maripov in celebrating this historic moment.

Additionally, officials from the Kyrgyz aviation and tourism authorities, as well as prominent travel agencies, graced the event with their presence.

The Jeddah-Bishkek route is set to operate with weekly frequency, offering travelers increased accessibility between these two vibrant destinations.

Flights will be available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, providing travelers with flexibility in planning their journeys.

Promising Growth Opportunity

This expansion into Central Asia aligns perfectly with the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP).

The program aims to facilitate easier access for pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia. For ACP and flynas, this expansion represents a promising growth opportunity within the Saudi aviation sector.

Contributing to National Goals

Beyond the immediate benefits, this expansion initiative also contributes to the broader goals of the National Tourism Strategy and National Civil Aviation Strategy in Saudi Arabia.

These strategies are ambitious, aiming to connect the Kingdom with 250 destinations worldwide, attract 330 million passengers to Saudi Arabia, and welcome 100 million tourists to the country by 2030.

The Jeddah-Bishkek route plays a pivotal role in achieving these objectives, making it a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia’s aviation history.
