Leading travel technology provider Accelya and Dubai-based airline flydubai solidify their long-standing partnership with a multi-year FLX Cargo renewal. This agreement creates a comprehensive cargo platform, streamlining flydubai’s operations and boosting its digital offerings.

The upgraded platform empowers flydubai with a user-friendly self-service tool for customers.

Additionally, Accelya’s extensive API library grants seamless connectivity to various third parties, expanding flydubai’s reach.

Maximizing Efficiency and Revenue

The renewal builds on a decade-long relationship and enhances flydubai’s digital distribution capabilities. Accelya’s end-to-end solution provides flydubai with valuable data and insights to optimize revenue opportunities and margins.

It also empowers the airline to develop and distribute new cargo products across various channels.

“Investing in innovative solutions to enhance our cargo capabilities has always been a priority,” said Mohamed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport Services & Cargo at flydubai.

“This renewed partnership strengthens our commitment to industry-leading practices. We’re excited to leverage this platform as we expand our cargo network.”

From its Dubai hub, flydubai boasts a vast network spanning over 150 destinations across 54 countries.

Their network covers Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and South-East Europe, the GCC, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, and South-East Asia.

Streamlined Cargo Operations

Accelya’s FLX Cargo solution digitizes the entire cargo booking and operation process, from quotations to settlements.

This empowers flydubai with greater control over its commercial and operational aspects, including distribution channels.

This renewal also strengthens Accelya’s presence in the Middle East and marks another significant FLX Cargo contract for the company.

“Our decade-long partnership with flydubai has been instrumental in their digital distribution success,” said Andrew Wilcock, Chief Revenue Officer at Accelya.

“With our expanded offering, flydubai can unlock the full potential of our platform, enabling further growth. We are proud to continue this momentum and value flydubai as a long-term partner.”
