New Milan Route Highlights flydubai’s Successes…
This new route to Milan Bergamo is an example of flydubai’s successes, especially as the carrier comes out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on data from RadarBox.com, the carrier achieved 287 movements on March 12-19 based on a seven-day rolling average provided by the flight tracking company.
This represents an increase of 18.11% compared to the same period last year and is 79 movements higher than the same point in 2019 (Pre-COVID levels).
Below is the last four weeks’ worth of data from the carrier:
|Date||2019 Numbers||2022 Numbers||2023 Numbers||Percentage Difference (2023 vs. 2022)|
|February 12-19||237 movements||237 movements||290 movements||+22.36%|
|February 19-26||225 movements||230 movements||301 movements||+30.87%|
|February 26-March 5||223 movements||242 movements||301 movements||+24.38%|
|March 5-12||223 movements||235 movements||297 movements||+26.38%|
The data shows that flydubai is continuing its push ahead to operate more flights and secure more revenue moving forward. Milan Bergamo is a great example of this.
It remains clear that flydubai is in a very strong position at present, with the Milan Bergamo route expanding on that success.
Looking ahead, the numbers will no doubt continue to rise, especially as we approach the busy Summer 2023 period.
But for now, all eyes are on the carrier to see where is next away from Milan.
