EXPO 2025

In Osaka on 13 April 2025, Japan will bring the international community together for six months of collaboration, creativity, innovation, wisdom, dialogue, and action.

In an age where humanity is facing a myriad of unprecedented challenges, the need to unite and cooperate, to make genuine, positive, and sustainable change has never been greater.

From 13 April to 13 October 2025, millions of visitors from around the world will join 161 participating countries, regions, and 9 international organisations.

Along with leading Japanese private sector firms and governmental participants, they will experience Expo 2025 under the theme of Designing Future Society for Our Lives.

This enigmatic creature, the official mascot of EXPO 2025, embodies the fusion of cells and water. Its vibrant red section represents dividing and multiplying cells, while the blue symbolizes clean water, ever-flowing and adaptable.

MYAKU-MYAKU serves as a symbol of the Expo’s potential and the spirit of innovation.

The Osaka Expo 1970, Japan’s, and Asia’s, first ever, became a symbol of Japan’s rapid economic growth and one of the country’s most lauded events.

Twenty years after the Aichi Expo 2005, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai will bring the international community back to Japan.
