EVA Air Ramps Up Hong Kong Winter Schedule

This week, it has been revealed that the Taiwanese carrier, EVA Air, will be ramping up its Hong Kong services during this winter season.

This article will cover the details surrounding EVA Air’s Hong Kong ramp-up for the upcoming winter 2023 season.

EVA Air Increases Hong Kong Winter Schedule

As per data from AeroRoutes.com, the Taiwanese carrier, EVA Air, will be significantly increasing its Hong Kong services, up from 35 weekly flights to 53 from October 29, 2023.

This increase will see flight numbers BR851/BR852, BR855/BR856, and BR809/BR810 being resumed all using a variety of the carrier’s fleet of currently 87 aircraft, according to Planespotters.

EVA Air’s fleet is broken down into, 20 Airbus A321s, three Airbus A330-200s, nine Airbus A330-300s, 34 Boeing 777-300ERs (Extended Range), eight Boeing 777 Freighters, four Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, and nine Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners.

The carrier has current outstanding orders for a further nine Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, three Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, one Boeing 777 Freighter, and three Boeing 777-300ER/SF Converted Freighters.

  • Outbound Legs –
    • BR891 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 07.00 a.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 08.50 a.m. using a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.
    • BR851 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 08.05 a.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 10.05 a.m. using an Airbus A321.
    • BR867 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 10.10 a.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 12.10 p.m. using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and a Boeing 777-300ER.
    • BR869 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 12.35 p.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 14.30 p.m. using an Airbus A321 and an Airbus A330-300.
    • BR855 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 14.15 p.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 16.20 p.m. using an Airbus A321.
    • BR871 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 16.35 p.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 18.30 p.m. using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.
    • BR857 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 18.10 p.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 20.05 p.m. using an Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner and Airbus A321.
    • BR809 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 19.00 p.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 20.50 p.m. using an Airbus A321.
  • Inbound Legs –
    • BR892 departs Hong Kong at 09.55 a.m. and arrives back in Taipei Taoyuan at 11.35 a.m. using a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.
    • BR852 departs Hong Kong at 11.15 a.m. and arrives back in Taipei Taoyuan at 13.00 p.m. using an Airbus A321.
    • BR868 departs Hong Kong at 13.35 p.m. and arrives back in Taipei Taoyuan at 15.20 p.m. using a Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
    • BR870 departs Hong Kong at 15.30 p.m. and arrives back in Taipei Taoyuan at 17.10 p.m. using an Airbus A321 and Airbus A330-300.
    • BR856 departs Hong Kong at 17.35 p.m. and arrives back in Taipei Taoyuan at 19.20 p.m. using an Airbus A321.
